The National Health Service (NHS) and the CMD are coordinating efforts to improve services

Officials from the Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS) and the Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD) have coordinated efforts aimed at improving public health services in the Dominican Republic. As part of these discussions, the SNS stated that every primary care center possesses an assigned assistant physician tasked with overseeing daily operations.

This assertion from health authorities counters earlier allegations made this year by the opposition party Fuerza del Pueblo. The political organization had previously raised concerns regarding the operational oversight and supervision of these primary healthcare facilities.
