Stefany Shaheen wins Democratic nomination for U.S. House in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District

Stefany Shaheen has won the Democratic primary for the New Hampshire House seat being vacated by outgoing Representative Chris Pappas. Shaheen, a health tech entrepreneur and the daughter of U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, secured the victory after a bitter primary race against state Democratic Party Vice Chair Maura Sullivan.

The race was closely contested, with projections showing Shaheen narrowly defeating Sullivan as 90% of the precincts reported their results.
