“Every action has a reaction, let it be known that I offered to dialogue”: all of López Aliaga’s messages to Fujimorist Samuel Daza

Rafael López Aliaga, candidate for first alderman of Lima for the Renovación Popular party, exchanged WhatsApp messages with Samuel Daza, the Fuerza Popular candidate for the Lima mayoralty, warning him that "every action has a reaction" and that attacking would harm Fuerza Popular. Daza revealed the communications through screenshots during a municipal debate on Tuesday the 22nd.

Following the exchange, Daza announced on Wednesday that he will file a formal complaint with the National Jury of Elections (JNE) against López Aliaga. The complaint will accuse the Renovación Popular candidate of coercion and political blackmail, stemming from the warnings sent via messaging during the electoral campaign.
