An ongoing wildfire in the Sierra Cebollera, located between La Rioja and Soria, has burned approximately 40 hectares according to preliminary estimates awaiting official confirmation. The fire broke out in the early afternoon on Wednesday in the municipality of Villoslada de Cameros in La Rioja.

Ground-based firefighting units remain deployed at the scene to combat the flames and contain the blaze as suppression efforts continue.
