Singida pushes results-based nutrition budget

The Singida Regional Nutrition Committee in Tanzania has directed that the 2026/27 regional budget be utilized as a primary tool to strengthen nutrition interventions. The initiative aims to deliver measurable outcomes in ongoing efforts to combat malnutrition within the region.

The directive was issued under the leadership of the Singida Regional Administrative Secretary, who also serves as the chairperson of the Regional Nutrition Committee, marking a strategic administrative push toward accountability and results-based resource allocation for public health.
