New details have emerged about the shooting at a bar in Aguachica that claimed the life of Sayuris Nayleth García after she refused to dance with a man.

On a single Monday, the Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN) recorded multiple seismic events affecting the states of Tabasco and Chiapas. In Tabasco, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck Huimanguillo at 20:40 hours, originating 24 kilometers northwest of the city at a depth of 65.4 kilometers.

Later that evening, the state of Chiapas experienced seismic activity centered in Mapastepec. An earthquake measuring magnitude 4.4 occurred at 22:27 hours, 158 kilometers southwest of the location at a depth of 10.0 kilometers. A subsequent earthquake of magnitude 4.6 was reported by the SSN in the same municipality at 23:58 hours on August 3, located 164 kilometers southwest of the municipality with a depth of 10.0 kilometers.
