Skies across the United Kingdom were illuminated by the northern lights on Friday and Saturday evening, providing a dazzling display for sky-gazers.

While the natural phenomenon is typically most visible near the Arctic Circle, the recent display extended unusually far south, reaching regions including Devon, Hampshire, and Kent.
