Authorities in Ceuta have deployed a reinforcement of only 25 agents to process asylum and reception applications for unaccompanied minors. The limited staff faces a significant workload, as approximately 40 percent of the arriving immigrants are requesting asylum.

In response to the volume of requests, police forces have raised concerns regarding a potential "fraud" in the asylum application process among the unaccompanied minors.
