Somalia: U.S. Renews $5 Million Reward for Information On Khadra Essa

The United States has renewed a financial reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the identification or location of Khadra Essa. Essa is also known by the alias Umm Qaqa al-Somali.

According to the U.S. government, Essa holds a prominent leadership role within the militant group ISIS, serving as the chief sharia instructor for an all-female battalion associated with the organization.
