Sony has announced the release of a new, lower-priced version of the PlayStation 5, specifically the Digital Edition in Midnight Black. The console is scheduled to be released on November 19.

This new hardware option will be available exclusively to consumers in Japan. While the console is priced significantly lower than the standard model, the geographic restriction limits its availability to the Japanese market.
