South Asia’s Gen Z protests offer one lesson in common

Last month in New Delhi, thousands of young Indian protesters led by a group named the Cockroach Janta Party marched toward Parliament to participate in what appeared to be India's arrival in South Asia's wave of Gen Z-led revolutions.

The demonstration was met with a forceful response from law enforcement officials, who deployed tear gas and struck the young protesters with batons.
