Day five of former Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill’s civil divorce trial got underway in Miami on Monday. It comes after jurors heard from Hill himself last week, speaking on his divorce and battery case. Hill’s his attorney called multiple witnesses meant to cast doubt on claims of abuse by his estranged wife Lakeeta Vaccaro, who says he was abusive to her over the course of their 18-month marriage.
One witness was a Sunny Isles Beach police officer who said he was called out to an incident at the couple’s condo. Vaccaro’s mother called 911 after she said things became physical between Hill and her daughter. Vaccaro filed for divorce the next day.
Another witness on Monday testified to being with the Davie Police Department in January of 2024 when she was called to Hill’s home in Southwest Ranches. About a week earlier, the home caught fire. The former officer testified about being called to the home for a domestic violence incident, but said there were no signs of violence in the home, or on Vaccaro.
Another officer, this one with the Orlando Police Department, said he responded to a call for help at a hotel. He said the couple argued over a post-nuptial agreement and as part of their investigation, Vacarro was photographed. Court will resume on Tuesday, which is expected to be the final day of the trial.

Rosa Flores, 19, was a passenger in a car when it was involved in a violent crash outside Miami Dade College’s Kendall Campus on Sept.
“When they were turning into the campus, they were gonna turn in, they were struck by a truck,” said Martinez. Flores was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, where she remained in a medically-induced coma for three weeks. “She had bleeding inside and the skull, so they had to go in there to drain her,” said Martinez.
