South Korea president proposes talks with Pyongyang to formally end Korean War

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung proposed on Saturday that Pyongyang engage in dialogue aimed at formally ending the Korean War.

The conflict has technically remained ongoing for more than 70 years due to the historical absence of a peace treaty concluding the hostilities.
