SpaceX launches 4 astronauts on a fast track to the International Space Station

SpaceX successfully launched four astronauts into orbit on Thursday from Cape Canaveral, Florida, beginning a six-month mission to the International Space Station. The crew, commanded by Jessica Watkins, is scheduled to remain at the station until the spring following a three-week delay in the mission's departure.

The mission carries personal significance for the crew, including a Canadian astronaut who is expecting the birth of a child while in space. This flight marks the latest collaboration between SpaceX and NASA to maintain a continuous human presence on the orbiting laboratory.
