SPRINGFIELD – Camp Wilder’s beach has been reopened for swimming following a several week closure because tests have showed high bacteria levels in the water.Camp Wilder, located off Parker Street, was closed on July 10. Tests now show the levels are within normal limits and the beach and swimming area are safe for recreation, Health and Human Services Commissioner Helen Caulton Harris announced Monday.
