Startups across the Middle East and North Africa raised $1.1 billion across 73 deals in September, driven largely by activity in Saudi Arabia. This total represents a 193 percent increase in funding compared to the previous month of August, according to the monthly funding report published by Wamda and Digital Digest.

Despite the significant month-over-month recovery, the total funding for September remained 68 percent lower than the figures recorded in September 2025.
