STAT+: A shortage of two Sanofi medicines for Pompe disease rattles patients

Sanofi is experiencing a shortage of two medications used to treat Pompe disease, a rare and serious genetic condition. The drugmaker recently notified patient advocacy groups about the supply disruption.
