Storms hit Midwest as wildfires rage in western states

On Tuesday night, powerful storms swept across the Midwest and into the mid-Atlantic states. The severe weather outbreak brought hurricane-force winds reaching up to 100 miles per hour, as well as tornadoes and flash flooding.
