Subsidy for motorcycle taxis: Government approves subsidy of up to S/100 per month until the end of the year

The Peruvian government has issued an emergency decree establishing a temporary, extraordinary fuel subsidy for operators of category L5 motor vehicles, commonly known as mototaxis, that provide public passenger transportation services. Eligible drivers will receive financial support of S/4 per gallon of gasoline or gasohol purchased, with a monthly cap of S/100 per beneficiary. This economic assistance program is scheduled to remain in effect until the end of the current year. To receive the benefit, drivers must ensure their fuel purchases meet specific validation conditions established by the government.
