Argentina achieved a record energy trade surplus of USD 7,834 million between January and August 2026, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (Indec) through the Argentine Commercial Interchange (ICA).
The accumulated surplus from the first eight months of the year has already surpassed the total energy generation figures recorded for the entirety of 2025.
