‘Superpotent’ thyroid medication recalled as batch could cause serious health problems

A single lot of a popular thyroid medication is being recalled after testing showed the batch may be superpotent. According to the Food & Drug Administration, the recall applies to Thyroid Tablets, USP 30 mg produced by Alabama-based Vitruvias Therapeutics Inc.
