Canadian Jeremy Schofield, known as Ephemeral Remy, has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the person with the highest number of tattoo layers on his body. The record was established after Schofield layered tattoos over 100 times, covering at least 90% of his skin surface.

Due to the unique nature of his body modification, Guinness World Records created a new specific category to accommodate his achievement. Schofield is now documented as the record holder within this newly established male category.
