Supreme court says Palestine Action co-founder can challenge ban on group

The UK Supreme Court has granted Huda Ammori, co-founder of the direct action group Palestine Action, permission to challenge a Court of Appeal ruling upholding the ban on the organization.

The legal challenge centers on the proscription of Palestine Action as a terrorist organization, a designation that took effect in July of last year.

The Supreme Court's decision to hear the case allows the co-founder to proceed with her legal opposition to the ban in the country's highest judicial body.
