HSC overhaul : Take - home assessments to be banned due to AI threat

New South Wales Education Minister Prue Car has initiated a move to ban take-home assessments for the Higher School Certificate (HSC) in response to the growing prevalence of artificial intelligence. The Minister has formally requested that the state’s exam authority implement an urgent moratorium on these assignments to maintain academic integrity.
