Workshop created secret compartments for drugs in the Dominican Republic until it was dismantled

Authorities in the Dominican Republic have dismantled a mechanical workshop in the Los Frailes sector of Santo Domingo East that was allegedly used to build secret vehicle compartments for drug transportation. The operation was carried out by the National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD), according to official reports.

The workshop's primary function involved modifying automobiles to create hidden spaces designed for moving narcotics undetected. This dismantling highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies in the country to disrupt logistical support networks utilized by drug trafficking operations.
