Tanzania chairs regional labour migration committee

Tanzania has assumed the chairmanship of the Regional Technical Advisory Committee on Labour Mobility for the East and Horn of Africa region, taking over the role from Uganda.

The leadership transition took place in Dodoma. The handover marks a strategic step aimed at bolstering regional cooperation focused on the management of safe, orderly, and regular labour migration across the participating countries.
