During the second quarter of the year, the unemployment rate in Lima Metropolitana fell to 4,7 %, according to data released by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática (INEI).

This figure represents the lowest unemployment rate ever recorded historically by the INEI survey for the capital of Peru.
