A 16-year-old Hong Kong student has been sentenced to up to six months at a detention centre for attempted voyeurism after he admitted to trying to spy on a female pupil in a school toilet. Kowloon City Court Magistrate Tsang Chung-yiu on Tuesday told the student to reflect on his actions as he spent the next few months at the Sha Tsui Correctional Institution, which is for young offenders. The defendant earlier pleaded guilty to a count of attempted voyeurism.
