On Saturday, Miguel Tellado, Secretary General of the People's Party (PP), announced that the party will not pursue the activation of Article 102 of the Constitution to charge Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez with treason. The proposal, which had been discussed in relation to the government's handling of migration, has been officially dismissed by the party leadership in favor of relying on ongoing judicial proceedings at the National Court regarding the situation in Ceuta.

Despite ruling out the constitutional treason charge, Tellado maintained a confrontational stance toward the administration. He characterized the government's management of migration in Ceuta as a case of maximum negligence and advocated for the removal of the current executive, while simultaneously referring to those entering the territory as invaders.
