Earthquake in Peru: magnitude 4 earthquake with epicenter in Tumbes

The Peruvian National Seismological Center (Censis) of the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP) recorded three separate seismic events in the country between September 13 and September 14. On Sunday, September 13, a magnitude 4 earthquake occurred with an epicenter in Tumbes. On Monday, September 14, two additional tremors were registered: a magnitude 4.8 earthquake in Andoas, Loreto, at 09:16 local time, and a magnitude 4 earthquake in Satipo, Junín, at 16:22 local time.

These seismic activities were documented by the National Seismic Network. The reports provide technical details regarding the magnitude, timing, and geographic location of each event, confirming the occurrence of these tremors across different provinces and departments within Peru.
