Thousands rally in Croatia demanding urgent cleanup of toxic waste from a town

Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Zagreb, Croatia, on Saturday to demand the immediate removal of thousands of tonnes of illegally dumped hazardous waste. The demonstration, titled 'Walk for Lika, Walk for Croatia,' was organized in response to government inaction regarding the waste, which has remained in place for several months.
