Tenzing Sherpa wins Nepal’s first medal at Asian Games

Tenzing Sherpa has secured Nepal's first-ever medal at the Asian Games by winning the bronze medal in the men's kumite +84kg karate category.

To claim the historic podium finish, Sherpa defeated Laos' Xayasan Vatthana with a decisive 9-1 score in the repechage round.
