Terra Natura Benidorm has successfully achieved the reproduction of a margay (Leopardus wiedii) for the first time. The birth marks a significant milestone for the wildlife park located in Alicante, Spain.

The margay is a small feline species native to Latin America. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the species is currently cataloged as "near threatened."
