Earthquake in Cali affects families in the Meléndez Reserve

Approximately 200 families in the Reserva de Meléndez residential complex, located on the slopes of Cali, Colombia, have been displaced following an earthquake. For the past two nights, residents have been forced to sleep in tents set up directly in front of the apartment buildings they previously inhabited.

The earthquake caused significant structural impact on the housing complex, leaving the affected residents unable to return to their homes. Emergency living conditions under temporary tents highlight the immediate humanitarian challenges faced by the displaced community in the aftermath of the seismic event.
