Thailand shortens visa-free stay for Israelis and other tourists from 60 to 30 days

Starting September 15, Thailand will reduce the visa-free stay allowance for tourists from over 60 countries and territories from 60 days to 30 days. This policy change applies to travelers from a wide range of nations, including Israel, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, and Australia.

While tourism remains a critical component of the Thai economy, government officials stated that the adjustment is intended to address concerns regarding criminal activity involving foreign nationals. The new regulations represent a significant shift in the country's immigration policy for international visitors.
