'That's not what he wants' - Hudson-Smith second in 400m semi-final

Great Britain's Matthew Hudson-Smith won the men's 400m gold medal at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham. The victory marks his third title in the event and establishes him as the joint-most decorated male athlete in the history of the European Championships. The race took place on the track where Hudson-Smith trained during his youth.

Prior to his gold-medal performance, Hudson-Smith competed in the semi-final round of the competition. Although he successfully qualified for the final, he finished second in that heat after fading late in the race.
