The Falklands economic development agency appoints Josh Smith as managing director

The Falkland Islands Development Corporation, the archipelago's economic development agency, has announced the appointment of Josh Smith as its new managing director. The decision was formally made on Friday, though the finalization of the role remains subject to Smith completing his relocation arrangements.

Smith is set to succeed Zachary Franklin, who has been serving as the agency's managing director. Franklin is scheduled to conclude his tenure in December.
