The sky’s the limit: PNGDF at Exercise Pitch Black2026

The Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) has deployed a contingent of aircrew and support personnel to participate in Exercise Pitch Black 2026. The deployment includes two PAC-750 aircraft, marking the force's return to the international air combat exercise hosted by the Royal Australian Air Force.

Exercise Pitch Black is recognized as the Royal Australian Air Force’s premier international training event, designed to enhance air combat capabilities through multinational cooperation. By participating in this exercise, the PNGDF joins a range of international partners in a large-scale training environment focused on operational readiness and tactical integration.
