The world's busiest spaceport is about to get a lot quieter, at least for now

SpaceX is significantly reducing the number of rocket launches from Florida's Space Coast, a senior company official confirmed on Tuesday. For the past decade, SpaceX's frequent flights utilizing the Falcon 9 rocket have established the region as the world's busiest spaceport.

The reduction in launch frequency is expected to make the spaceport considerably quieter for the time being. According to the confirmation, the slowdown in operations will remain in effect until the company's next-generation Starship rocket becomes operational at the site.
