They're not playing our song! North Korean anthem played at South Korean field hockey match

Organisers at the Asian Games in Japan have issued an apology after playing the North Korean national anthem instead of the South Korean anthem for the South Korean men's field hockey team.

The incident occurred on Friday before a match between South Korea and Bangladesh. South Korean players looked on, perplexed and unsure of how to react upon hearing the anthem of their northern neighbor.

While the blunder was corrected with an apology from event organizers, the mix-up highlights a sensitive diplomatic gaffe given the historic and ongoing tensions between North and South Korea.
