Thousands welcome cycling students in Kragujevac ahead of Serbia’s Oct. 25 election

Thousands of people gathered in the central Serbian town of Kragujevac to stage a cheerful welcome for a group of university students. The event marked the end of the students' cycling tour across the Balkan country.

The demonstration and tour take place ahead of Serbia's early election scheduled for October 25. During these events, the university students are actively challenging populist President Aleksandar Vucic.
