All communities are activating alerts today for heat, heavy rains or storms

All autonomous communities in Spain have issued weather alerts today due to a combination of extreme heat, heavy rainfall, and intense storms. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) reported that these warnings cover the entire national territory as the country experiences varied and severe meteorological conditions simultaneously.

High temperatures are specifically impacting a broad range of regions, including Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Castile and Leon, Castile-La Mancha, Catalonia, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, Navarre, La Rioja, the Valencian Community, and the Canary Islands. These alerts reflect a widespread period of atmospheric instability across the country.
