Toronto cop arrested in Project South corruption case pleads guilty to improper search of police database

TORONTO - A Toronto police officer who was charged as part of Project South, a sweeping organized crime and police corruption probe, has pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a computer. An agreed statement of facts read out in court distanced Const. Elias Mouawad from the more serious Project South corruption allegations.
