Five years after the volcanic eruption on La Palma, Spanish Minister of Territorial Policy Ángel Víctor Torres has reaffirmed the central government's ongoing support for the island's full recovery.

Speaking on Saturday, Torres emphasized that authorities are continuing to work and are concentrating maximum efforts to achieve an "absolute" recovery for the affected region.
