The TransmiCable cable car in San Cristóbal now has an operator: it will open in December and will draw on the experience of Mi Teleférico in La Paz, Bolivia.

The TransmiCable system in San Cristóbal, Bogotá, has officially selected the Sociedad Futura Mi Cable San Cristóbal to serve as its operator. The contract, which spans a duration of 10 years and four months, was awarded by the public transport entity Transmilenio S.A. The project is currently scheduled to begin operations in December.

A key component of the new operator's strategy is the integration of technical expertise from Mi Teleférico, the cable car system located in La Paz, Bolivia. This partnership aims to leverage international experience in aerial transit to support the launch and management of the new infrastructure in Bogotá.
