Transport Ship Neptune Runs Aground off Salamina

On Monday night, 5 October, the Greek-flagged vehicle carrier Neptune Ethos ran aground on a sandy seabed off Kamatereos in Salamina. The circumstances surrounding the grounding remain unclear.

The vessel is a specialised Pure Car and Truck Carrier built in 2011 and was sailing without cargo at the time of the incident.
