Following the violent storm in Chile, a new front caused evacuations in several areas of the country: there are more than 600 evacuees.

Chilean authorities ordered evacuations across several regions in the center-north and south of the country on Friday following a new storm system. The severe weather has caused river levels to rise and overflow, leading to the displacement of more than 600 people.

The evacuations follow a recent period of violent weather that has impacted the nation. The Servicio Nacional de Prevención y Respuesta ante Desastres is currently managing the response to the flooding and the ongoing risks posed by the latest front.
