Thirteen gang members receive sentences of up to 224 months in prison in Panama

Thirteen gang members have received prison sentences of up to 224 months in Panama for aggravated gang-related offenses. The rulings stem from law enforcement actions identified as Operation Custodia and Operation Cor.

Specifically, nine members of a criminal faction operating in San Miguelito were sentenced to terms ranging between 72 and 100 months in prison. Meanwhile, four other individuals associated with the case received harsher penalties reaching up to 224 months.
