Three pillars to support the Punta Cana aqueduct

The Integral Aqueduct, Sanitation, and Reuse Program for Verón-Punta Cana involves a 400 million dollar financing package from the Inter-American Development Bank (BID). This initiative constitutes one of the most ambitious water infrastructure investments ever undertaken in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic.

Despite the significant financial backing, analysts note that funding alone does not guarantee the long-term success of the project, highlighting the necessity of foundational support structures to ensure its viability and sustainability.
