Russian court bans anti-war party from participating in elections

The Supreme Court of Russia ruled on Monday to prohibit the Yabloko party from participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for September. Presiding Judge Viacheslav Kirilov announced that the court had accepted legal petitions to annul the party's eligibility for the ballot.
